What are the Reasons of Harpreet Singh’s suicide in Khalsa College Amritsar

Harpreet singh Khalsa College suicide

On 26th april 2017 Harpreet Singh who was the student of Bsc Agriculture in Khalsa College Amritsar ended his life after the harassment of college management committee. He was also topper of his college. The reason behind this harassment was only the Harpeet Singh was preparing for for his Msc and his health was not good so his college lecture’s was short. The college management detained him from appearing in exams.

According College student’s who was the classmate of Harpreet Singh, The College Principal (Dr) Mehal Singh, head of the agriculture department Randeep Kaur and registrar Devinder Singh they are the main accused of Harpreet Singh’s Suicide. They didn’t allow him to sit in exam and practical. They did mentally harassed him.

A large number of college students including hostel girls are sit on Protest against College Management Committee and blocked the main GT road leading to traffic chaos before the police diverted the traffic. The student’s protest entered the eighth day on Wednesday, with support pouring in from political parties and social organisations.

Amritsar Deputy commissioner of police Amarjit Singh Bajwa met with the protesters but failed to pacify them.

The protesting student’s are only demanding for justice for Harpreet singh and his Family.

Till now neither any big politician or media came forward to support the student’s. Even Navjot Singh Siddhu who is cabinet minister of Amritsar didn’t respond to this incident.

So i appeal to youth of India to share this post and videos on facebook and youtube as much as possible to support those students who are protesting for justice for their classmate. This incident has proved that the news and media of this country is only for rich people.

SUICIDE IS NOT A WISH TO DIE

IT’S A CRY FOR HELP
