Sushant Singh Rajput who died in his Bandra Flat under the suspicious circumstances on 14th June 2020 shocked the entire nation. Moreover, the way Mumbai Police has been investing, in this case, raised several questions. They are often alleged to protect the culprits and even they had a power tussle going on with Bihar Police who landed in Mumbai to investigate this case.

However, under the rising demand for a CBI probe, in this case, good news has come today for all Sushant Fans as Center has accepted the Bihar Government Demand of CBI probe, and now this case shall be transferred to CBI and they will do the investigation.

What happened in the Supreme Court’s Sushant case hearing?

A single-judge bench heard the petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty to not transfer the case to Bihar Police. At the beginning of this hearing Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, confirmed that the CBI has accepted the Bihar government’s request. It came amid when Sushant’s father lawyer accused the Mumbai police of destroying the evidence and requested the Supreme court to immediately transfer the case to CBI.

Mukul Rohtagi told Supreme Court that CBI’s notification for its investigation is expected to be out by the end of the day on Wednesday.

Today Subramanium Swamy made a tweet to inform that Center has accepted the Bihar Government demand of CBI probe.
